Kydex is an extremely versatile thermoplastic material that is highly durable. It is able to produce three-dimensional components that are seamless. The extremely durable,hardwearing performance characteristics of Kydex and its less complicated production method when compared to laminates,veneers and other coatings such as painting and powdercoating, mean that it is price competitive when compared with high pressure laminates (HPL).Kydex lasts longer and is easy to care for. All of this plus the extended operational lifespan of Kydex contribute to lowering the cost of ownership.

Our expertise and experience in the area of membrane pressing allows us to utilise Kydex to obtain superior results in applications where other surface materials such as high pressure laminate may have allways been considered previously. Kydex is manufactured in a way that allows a single coloured core. A material manufactured in this way does not show scratches in the same way as a darker coloured core material such as a high pressure laminate. This single colour characteristic is also of benefit when the product is applied using flat lamination.
